Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how My Gym Journey (“the App”) handles information when you use the App. Questions: support@mygymjourney.app.

Summary

My Gym Journey is designed to keep your workout data on your device. The App does not require an account, does not sell your personal data, and does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

Information stored on your device

The App stores workout-related information locally on your iPhone, including:

• Workout and exercise templates you create
• Schedule preferences
• Completed workout history and progress data
• App settings (units, progression preferences, Features Summary preferences)

This data is saved in the App’s local storage. We do not operate an account system or cloud sync service that uploads this data to our servers.

Information shared with Apple (with your permission or action)

Apple Health (HealthKit). If you grant permission, the App may write completed workout information to Apple Health. Health data is managed by Apple. You can revoke access in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices. The App does not sell Health data.

Notifications and Live Activities. If enabled, the App may use local notifications and Live Activities (for example, rest timers) on your device.

In-App Purchases. Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Sharing workouts or exercises. If you export or share a .mygymjourney file, you control what you share and with whom.

Information we do not collect

Based on the App’s current design, My Gym Journey does not:

• Require you to create an account
• Collect your name, email, or contact information inside the App (unless you email support)
• Track you across other apps or websites for advertising
• Use third-party analytics or advertising networks
• Sell your personal information

Data retention and deletion

Because workout data is stored on your device, you can remove it by deleting the App or by deleting individual workouts or history inside the App where available. Health samples may remain in Apple Health until you manage them there.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Third-party services

The App relies on Apple platforms (App Store, StoreKit, HealthKit, notifications, share sheet). See Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will be revised when changes are posted.
